Wenham Barber
1810-1878

Wenham Barber was the second of the eight known children of Wenham Barber and his wife Elizabeth (née Walker) of Littleport, Cambridgeshire, England.

Wenham worked as an Agricultural Labourer at Littleport.

He married Mary (née Padget) in 1831, and together they had nine children.

By 1871, Wenham, now a widower, is noted as a pauper. He dies in 1878 and his estate was left to a 'William Ellingham of the Moors near Victoria Bridge, Littleport, Farmer, the sole Executor'. It is unclear as to whether this person is related, but it is also possible that he may have been a debtor. The estate was valued at 'under £20'.
