William Barber
(1814-1877)

William Barber was the fifth of the eight known children of Wenham Barber and his wife Elizabeth Walker of Littleport, Cambridgeshire, England.

William worked as a shepherd, and lived at Camel Road in Littleport with his family and his wife's parents between the censuses between 1851 and 1871. Prior to this, they had all lived at Black Lake Bridge.

William and Hannah had at least 11 children, but sadly only about 3 of the children survived infancy.

William pre-deceased his wife Hannah by 22 years, at the age of 63 years.
