Sarah Jane Dewey

Sarah Jane was the oldest of the children of John Freeman Dewey and his wife Elizabeth (née Boulter) of Witchford, Cambridgeshire.
Sarah married George William Anderson, a tailor, and the couple settled down in Ely to start a family. However, after two children, their next four children were to bring heartache: William died just 24 days old; Walter and George died in 1915 and were buried on the same day; Vera died when she was 19-20yrs old.
This tragedy left just their oldest two children, with their son being the only child to marry and bear children.
