The Dunham family of Cambridgeshire

The Dunham family appear in my maternal ancestry, with the last Dunham ancestor being Jane Dunham born in 1793 in Witchford, Cambridgeshire.

Jane married John Hawkins in 1815.

Jane was the third of five child of William Dunham and his wife Alice (née Foreman) of Witchford. None of her siblings survived into adulthood.

William's father (also William) had four children with his first wife Jane. She died during the 1760s, afterwhich he remarried to a widow named Elizabeth Pickerell (née Haylock) and together they had two further children.
