Elizabeth Fison
1810-1886

Elizabeth Fison was the wife of Ely shoemaker, Robert Cooper.

As yet, her parent's and sibling's names remain a mystery but with her husband Robert, she had thirteen children in Ely.

Census returns suggest that she was born in Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire but there is no supporting baptism information in that parih. It is possible that she had a brother, Thomas Fison who married at Ely St. Mary's in 1831. There were a number of Fison named inhabitants of the Ely Holy Trinity parish.
