The Gillions / Gillians / Gillings family
The Gillions family lived in Wrestlingworth, Bedfordshire during the late 18th Century. Prior to this, they lived in the parish of Dunton, also in Bedfordshire.

On the 1851 census, my Gtx4 Grandparents - Edward Gilbert b. 1774, Abbotsley, and his wife Susan Gillions, were lodging with their daughter and son-in-law Thomas Cade of Abbotsley. They were both noted as paupers and Susan is also noted as being blind.
The careful research of distant cousin, Colin Tabeart and the kindness of my Grandmother's cousin - Luther Gilbert of Littleport, has supplied me with many of the details displayed on this site for this particular family although I have been able to verify the details against original records.
