Parents: William Gothard b.1816 Sarah Hawkins b.1820 d.1882		Richard Gothard was the seventh child of William Gothard and his wife Sarah Hawkins of Witcham, Cambridgeshire.   He married Phoebe Collins of Landbeach, Cambridgeshire and the couple went on to have at least two children.
