William Hale
1689-1730

William Hale was one of the eleven children of Thomas Hale and his second wife Elizabeth (seemingly née Fairy) of Knotting, Bedfordshire, England.

William appears to have moved to nearby Potton, Bedfordshire, when he married Elizabeth Truelove of Leighton Buzzard, and there they had ten children, although sadly three of these died in infancy.

William was noted as a tailor at the time of his marriage, and upon his death. He was outlived by his wife Elizabeth, but both had died by the time their youngest child John was just 10 years old.
