Agnes Hawkins

Agnes was the third of the seven children of William Hawkins, a farmer and publican, and his wife Elizabeth (née Newell) of Haddenham, Cambridgeshire.
Agnes is noted as a 'scholar' on the 1881 census.
By the time of the 1891 census she is working as a 'Gen Dom Servant' for John Aameveld of Hornsey, Middlesex. A few years later she returns to Cambridgeshire.
She married Joseph Arthur Moden of Sutton in 1894 and the couple settled in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire after Joseph found work as a moulder in an iron foundry.
The couple went on to have 11 children.
