Mary Hawkins was the sixth oldest of the eight children of John Hawkins and his wife Jane of Witcham, Cambridgeshire.
Mary is noted only on the baptism and burial registers. Her short lifetime ended with an entry in the Witcham burial register reading as; "9yrs, 9mths. Burnt to death in the absence of her Mother. Buried by coroner's order".
