Mary Jackson

Mary Jackson was one of a set of 'three twins' (as the parish register reads), or triplets, born to Thomas Jackson and his wife Mary (née Turner) of Wicken, Cambridgeshire, England. The triplets (Mary, Thomas, and Elizabeth) were the third successful birth for the couple.

Mary married William Bailey of Wicken, and the couple went on to have ten children between 1779 and 1800 - all of which were baptised at the parish church.

It is likely Mary was the mother to an illegitimate child (also named Mary), who was baptised just 2 months before she married William Bailey.

It appears that William pre-deceased Mary by 38 years.
