Christopher Jeffery was the third child of Dean Jeffery, a gardener of Ely, and his first wife Mary Beasley.
When Christopher was about nine years old, his mother died. Two years later, his father remarried and the family grew again, adding another seven siblings.
Christopher married Elizabeth Collin of Ely when he was 29 and the couple had at least five children before Christopher died in 1845 aged 38 and Elizabeth died in 1848, aged 40yrs.
Christopher worked as a bricklayer in the 1830s and 1840s.
I am unsure as to what happened to their children after their parents' deaths but i'm sure the 1851 census will reveal it.
