Grace Violet Moden was the sixth child of the seven children of Edward Moden and his wife Mary Ann Cross of Barton Road/Cambridge Road, Ely, Cambridgeshire.
She worked in her Mother's shop on the corner of Barton Road and Cambridge Road for many years. The shop finally closed its doors to business in the 1980's having left the Moden family some years previously. Today the property is a private house.
She did not marry, and is pictured here as one of the bridesmaids of her sister, Susan's wedding.
