Ely origins?

The Murfitt family appears a few times in my family tree, but only once (so far) in my ancestry.

The connection, which reaches back to January 1796, finds my maternal 6x Great Grandfather Thomas Murfitt marry my 6x Great Grandfather Sarah Gotobed in the Holy Trinity Church at Ely in the county of Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom.

It's here, where they raised 8 children, the second of which was my 5x Great Grandmother, Elizabeth Murfitt.
