My connections to the Whitehead family of Haddenham was only revealed in both cases during early 2005. Nine years after first knowing that the Whitehead name plays an ancestral role in a Moden family from Haddenham, it took almost a decade to tie up all the links.
Whilst doing so, up popped the name again in the village on the other side of my family tree, the Newman family.
Whilst trawling through the Haddenham parish registers i noticed just how many Whitehead children their had been and just how many of these were named Elizabeth (the Newman ancestor) and were born within what would be an acceptable time for mine. This has given me a few headaches already but the other (Moden) occurrence of Whitehead gives me some clearer clues as to whom the parents were.
For the meantime, this page is a little blank but i hope to add my findings here soon.
