The Family Tree

Thomas Yarrow
1710-1778

Thomas Yarrow was the third of seven known children of Willyam Yarrow and his wife Elizabeth of Little Thetford, Cambridgeshire, England.

Thomas married Susan Cockerton of nearby Soham, and they settled down initially in Little Thetford to have five children, including a set of twins.

It appears that after the death of the twin Elizabeth, the family relocated in approximately 1745 to Susan's native Soham, where they bore three further children.

Susan predeceased Thomas by almost 11 years, and it seems that after Susan's death, he re-married to a widow named Sarah Cockerton. Sarah may have been a widowed sister-in-law to his late wife.

Thomas is noted in the Soham burial register as a 'Yeoman'.
