William Dewey
1815-1887
William Dewey was the oldest of the known children of William Dewey and his wife Ellen (née Markerham) of Witchford, Cambridgeshire. He worked as an Agricultural Labourer.
He married Mary Tabraham of Ely, Cambridgeshire and the couple had at least seven children.
Mary died in 1866 but twelve years later, William married Isabel Watson (formerly Knowles) at Ely's Register Office.
