Lily Dewey
(1903-1983)

Lily Dewey (later Lily Moden) was the fifth of the six children of horse keeper Alfred Dewey and his wife Lucy Bowles of March, Cambridgeshire, England.

Lily married milkman George Edward Moden (brother-in-law to her cousin Ernest Edward Thomas Dewey) at Wentworth, Cambridgeshire. George and Lily went on to have two children and they lived on Cambridge Road in Ely, before moving round the corner to Barton Road.

Lily pre-deceased George in 1983, and he continued to live at their Barton Road address with their daughter until his death in November 1998.
