The Family Tree

Elizabeth Ann Moden
1865-1942

Elizabeth Ann Moden was the fifth of the six children of labourer Edward Moden, and his wife Mary Ann (née Freeman) of Coveney, Cambridgeshire, England.

When Elizabeth was fifteen, she appears on the 1881 census amongst her family, but is also noted as a 'Domestic Servant'.

Elizabeth married brass worker Major William Boylett (Major being his first name, rather than an indication of rank), and the couple settled down in Kensington, London, England.

On the 1911 census, it notes that Elizabeth had given birth to twelve children, but that only nine were alive at the time. The identity of the three missing children is not clear, although FreeBMD.org does give clues to potential candidates.
