Sarah Tingey
(1823-1863)

Sarah Tingey (later known as Sarah Saddon, or Sarah Seddon) was the fifth of the twelve children of Robert Tingey and his wife Fanny Harrison of Canon Street, in Little Downham, Cambridgeshire, England.

Sarah married railway labourer Thomas Seddon (sometimes spelt 'Saddon' or 'Sodden'), and the couple had two children in Sarah's native Little Downham. Sadly, the oldest - a son, appears to have died as an infant.

The family then move to Ashford, Kent, England, and have a further three children before Sarah died in 1863. Their youngest child was only about 6 years old at the time.

It is not clear what became of Thomas after this date, and whether he re-married.
