Emma Levitt
(1825-1893)

Emma Levitt (later Emma Newman) was the oldest of the nine children of John Levitt and his wife Elizabeth Skeel of Swaffham Bulbeck, Cambridgeshire, England.

Emma married blacksmith Charles Newman, in 1847 and the couple are noted as living on the High Street of Swaffham Bulbeck with at least six children.

Emma pre-deceased her husband Charles in 1893, after which he appears as a widower living in Newmarket with their son Elias and his young family on the 1901 census.
