Emma Levitt
1825-1892

Emma Levitt was born in Swaffham Bulbeck, the oldest of the nine children of John Levitt (a labourer) and his wife Elizabeth Skeels.

Emma married Charles Newman, Blacksmith, in 1847 at Swaffham Bulbeck and the couple lived on the High Street of Swaffham Bulbeck, Cambridgeshire with their family of at least six children.

Emma died prior to the 1901 Census, as her husband Charles appears as a widower in Newmarket with their son Elias Newman and his family.
